2003 Honda civic LX coupe Keyless entry reciever

I recently had bought a 2003 honda civic LX and im not sure if it has the keyless reciever or not and i want to get this done because i've been trying to get a remote for a little while now.

2003 Civic LX did not come with factory installed keyless (only 2003 EX). It was only available for a 2003 LX as a dealer installed accessory option.

How would i know if the previous owner had put in a keyless entry?

If someone installed the Honda accessory keyless unit, the unit would be located behind the dashboard lower center cover; refer to step # 11 in these installation instructions for the location:
