walbro 255 blown fuse
i just installed a new walbro 255 fuel pump in my 88 crx and after about 5 minutes of driving it blew the fuse, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue with a 10A fuse, ill try a 15A and see if it blows again shortly.
I would not recommend using a larger fuse without knowing what is going on.
How do you have it wired? Do you have a good ground or did you just use a self tapper in some crusty place? Are you using the stock wiring and main relay or an aftermarket relay with a flyback diode? What fuse are you blowing? Is this in tank or inline? Do you still have the stock pump and is it still being powered?

i replaced the stock in take pump with a walbro, ground is good in exactly the same spot as stock and i used all the stock wiring/ relay. fuse number 14 blew which is also alternator and a solenoide valve, so im thinking the bigger pump was just enough to push the fuse to its limits as they draw about 8A.
