I started it after sitting for 5 hours. From the timing side of the engine is a pinging sound that will be in a linked video. It has never done this before and is my only car please help.
It is not rpm dependent and does not do it always. I have not done timing belt or water pump but it is a swapped car. I have done clutch, flywheel bolts were torqued to spec and loctite applied.

The timing belt does not seem to be properly tensioned.

I have thought this before but was unsure if I was right. Do you think that would cause this sound? the timing belt has been like that since I bought it

Thank you all for the help. It turns out that the ac bracket got loose so the pulley was hitting the crank pulley. The 14mm adjustment bolt for the timing tensioner is off center inside the lower timing cover preventing my tools from getting on the bolt, does anyone know a way around this? Thank you
