Hey guys, im looking for help diagnosing whats wrong with my 94 Civic Ex. Recently I drove it in the cold and honestly didn't let it warm up, when I got home there was a new ticking noise coming from the pit where the (edit) alternator / pulleys are. Its not coming from the valve cover.

Today I looked at it and it seems the crank pulley is oscillating although very slightly, could this be the noise?? How bad is this? I also have a video of i, just click the link Also the noise kinda sounds like a sparkplug

The distributor and pulleys are located on opposite sides. Or are you saying that the ticking is heard on both sides of engine?

 

No, that's my bad. I meant the alternator. I edited it just now thanks. Its only coming from the pit where all the belts are

 

Try removing each of the three drive belts one at a time to see whether removal of one eliminates the noise.
