Im working on getting my tie rods on my 95 accord ex, getting everything back together, and I have a question about the boots. The two pictures are of the passenger side of the steering rack, which picture is correct for the mounting location for the boot. My other question is, on the drivers side, how in the world do i get the boot over the hump? ive tried everything from penetrating oil to trying to expand it with near boiling water, and it just doesn't seem to want to go on. Any suggestions?

Top one looks right. I thought it goes under the rim.

Is there anything different in the opening of the driver side? Flash or paint material causing an obstruction? twist it on?
