I could be totally off base here, but isn't it usually the other way around? I would think putting an F22 intake on an F23a1 would be worse in terms of horsepower? Or is this just what you happen to have lying around so you are trying to make it fit?

If so, I thought the big thing was switching the IACV to a 2wire instead of my 3wire f23 one.

But I will be curious to see what others say.

Stick with the F23 intake manifold. Flows more than enough for the engine.

Gains, if any, aren't worth the work to port match and adapt the two.

I'll second that. the stock manifold isn't going to be your bottleneck for making power. but if you reach a point where your data says that you would make more if you could just get the air in there- you can buy this adapter and have your choice of OE or aftermarket K-series manifolds. or if you just like spending money. it will be shiny!
