RSX-S Part-Out: What Has value?
I am considering buying ones of a handful of complete RSX Type S cars to part for the dropout so I can do a swap.
After the dropout is taken, what parts are commonly needed and worth the time to sell? *Approximate* values on parts in average condition would be appreciated. I know that values vary by condition. But I'm sure that enough people have parted RSXs here to give me an idea of what I might get back out of the car by selling what I don't need.
TIA.

Not much. Engine, transmission, PCM, wire harness, shift cables, axles, brakes, hubs are going to be the bulk of the value. Those are all parts you will keep for your swap.
I have done the part out game a few times after extracting the good bits. Takes months to sell just a fraction of the usable parts. Huge amount of labor. Lights and glass sell quick and then the rest goes unused. I think you are going to find there are not many people left in the game of repairing your own car. Could just be my area but sure seems like no one gets real deep into repairs.

Now I know to expect very little. It sounds to me like the best thing to do is sell off the roller super duper cheap (like $500-1000) and have it gone since there is virtually no chance that I will ever own an RSX as a driver. It's not that I don't like them a lot. They're just impossible to find with less than 200k on the clock and not beaten to death.
That's an inaccurate projection of what's out there from my experiences. All 4 RSX I have bought in either Florida or Maryland since 2018 have had between 61k to 140k on them and I paid between $1,600 - $6,000
