Default Parking sensors turn off automatically

Hello, has anyone had issues with their parking assist/sensors system randomly turning off. I can have the system on and then the next time I start the car it will off and I can't turn it back on. I push the button and it will not turn on. If I shut off the car and start it again, I can now turn the system back on. I have had it at the dealership three times for this and I just stopped there again today because when I got in my car the park assist was off and I could not turn it back on. They are going to call someone at Honda to come out and take a look at it. The last time I had it in they replaced the module in the dash that has the push button and they said to see if that fixed it, it didn't.

It is really annoying because I always have it on and I assume it is on when I am parking and I expect the sensors to go off as I get close in my garage and they don't beep and then I look down and the system is off.

TIA.

Since replacing the switch in the dash didn't resolve the issues, some other things could be faulty parking and back-up sensor control unit (located in rear trunk area); or a wiring; or connection fault.

Would that cause the system to turn off at random times?

I have the exact same issue. Exactly as you describe. Very annoying. 2017 Accord touring.

I recently had the battery go completely dead. I replaced the battery and since I put in the new battery, the parking sensor has not turned off on its own once. I am wondering if the battery voltage dipped at times and the parking sensor system shut off. Maybe check your battery voltage and see if it is above 12.5 volts.
