Recently ive been having some issues with not being able to go into first as well as every time i shift into 2nd it gets stuck. I just recently did a master cylinder and a new slave cylinder. Im just curious if anyone knows what my issue could be. Im not sure if it could be linkage/ bushing related or if it could be tranny side???? If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Car is a stock eg8 (d15b7).

 

Does the transmission shift smoothly into all gears when the engine is OFF?

 

I found that in my Civic the shifter bushings (from underneath the car) were shot. Once I replaced them, my shifting problems were 90% gone. Not too hard to do on this car.
