P06 ecu fuel prime issue
So ive got a P06 ecu which has had the main capacitors replaced but it takes a long time to prime the fuel pump when key is turned on. I emailed Xenocron about diagnosing the issue and they replied theyve never been able to successfully diagnose the slow pump prime issue.
So has anyone had any experience with this issue? Sometimes the time it takes to prime varies from like 1 minute to like 3 minutes, sometimes i can try cranking the ignition which will get it to prime. Overall though the ecu functions fine except for this issue.

If replacing the caps didn't fix this issue, you have two choices: Replace the ECU with another known good one OR deal with the delay in priming.
You actually have another choice. This is a common issue with these 25+ year old ECUs and I repair this issue daily.

Turns out i had ordered a new IC17 Toshiba part a year ago and never replaced it...replaced it today and now no prime at all. FML. Lol. Guess a new ECU is the answer

You could try putting the old part back in and see if it works again. If that is the case maybe your new IC may have gotten damaged.
They also have to be put in the proper orientation as well, but I'm sure you already knew that.
