There was a half second Cut out in sound every few moments when playing audio from my smart phone via Bluetooth . This is in a 20 type R . The only change I made that cured the problem 100% was to reboot the stock stereo by holding down the power button for more than five seconds until it did a master reboot and the problem was solved like magic . Hoping this helps somebody else .
