Default Turn Signal Bulb Issue

Hey guys, so I ended up cutting the black wire on my turn signal socket to disable the running light function in front. This kind of worked but now when I switch my lights on, the turn signal indicators in the gauge cluster stay on solid and the rear turn signals stay on solid as well. When I try and use my turn signal, nothing happens. The only time my turn signals will work is if I switch my lights off. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You'll want to reconnect the black wires (they are the ground to the turn signals and parking lights).

In your other thread where I linked to another thread I answered, it is the Red/Blk wire that would be cut to achieve what you're trying to do. Red/Blk is a red colored wire with a black stripe running through it.
