Default 2016 Civic EX Warning Lights All Coming On

My son drove his 2016 Civic EX to work this morning and multiple warning lights came on - Emissions System Problem, Brake System Problem, Brake Hold System Problem, Power Steering System Problem, Hill Assist Start Problem... the list goes on! This car has had routine maintenance and never has presented any problems previously. Maybe It couldn’t handle being clean - my son just washed it and vacuumed it out two days before! Any suggestions as to what this could be wouldt be greatly appreciated! He just started a new job and doesn’t have a lot of $ for repairs. Assume we should take it to dealer tomorrow.

You can try to get the car scanned for trouble code(s) and then post actual trouble code number)(s) here on the forum. The specific trouble code(s) are something that may help narrow down possible issues and/or causes.

Many auto parts stores will scan/read the trouble codes for free, or loan the equipment to do so. Usually, the dealer will charge for diagnosis.

Sometimes, multiples trouble codes can just be due a low charge on the battery or dying battery. But, there may be other reasons too.

Had this issue with my 2019 Civic Hatchback. Turned out to be a misfire on one cylinder. Dealer replaced all the fuel injectors under warranty and its been working great since.
