New to the site looking for some help with my 96 Honda Civic EX
I have a 96 Honda Civic Ex currently. I recently replaced the crankshaft sensor, distributor, spark plug wires and thermostat. I had the car sitting for about 3 months because every distributor I got was either broken or the sensors were faulty I kept getting codes P1362 and P1382. I finally got a good distributor no codes or anything got the car started and it ran for about a week. I was driving to work the other morning no issues when I left my house stopped at a store left the car running came back out and the car lost power when I put it into 1st gear and pulled out the rev didn’t match the speed. The car won’t go over 30-35 miles per hour. I have no check engine light on at all no smells from the car there is some smoke that comes out when I rev the car a little higher but it’s white. Seems like the car isn’t getting enough compression so I’m suspecting it will be something with either fuel intake or air intake. Would anyone have any ideas as to what would cause this? It happened very sudden and I’m trying to avoid a huge mechanic bill.

Might want to check the firing order if you replaced the distributor. You may have plugged the spark plug wires in the wrong sequence causing the car to misfire and the to be timing off.
