2002 Civic 1.4l Manual - Squeaqing noise when engaging clutch
My mother purchased the car, which has a mileage of about 55k, just a couple of weeks ago. Today while I was driving it, suddenly the clutch starts making this strange noise (refer to videos)
The noise is persistent through all gears as well as in neutral. It's audible both inside and outside of the car, although it doesn't appear as loud in real life as it does in the first video. There is also some noise when the clutch is released, but it's more noticeable when the clutch is engaged.
I tried searching through the forums but I'm still not sure what it could be. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated
EDIT: To clear the confusion. The sound is more noticeable when pressing the clutch pedal IN and less so when releasing the pedal. See videos
