2002 Honda Civic Coupe won’t start
Hello! New guy here, I recently bought a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe with almost 250k miles on it. The guy that I bought it from replaced a bunch of new parts(new spark plugs, coil over, oil....). When I first drove it I realized I needed to get a new intake, so I did. The issue I’m having is that the car would do these “hiccups” and suddenly the RPMs gauge would drop to 0. To get it back to normal I would have to shut the car off and on and then after 10 or so minutes of driving it, it would do it again. I asked around and was told many things but so far the only thing I’ve done is replace the MAP sensor. Which it made it worse. Now the car barely starts and when it does stay running, the check engine light comes on and the temp gauge & RPMs drop to nothing.
so I’m not sure anymore what to do. The next thing I was told to do was change the camshaft sensor but other than that, I’m not sure. Thanks in advance!!

Do you have a CEL on? Do you have any codes stored? Tell us the codes. Don't replace parts until you provide the codes. Don't use aftermarket sensors, plugs, coils as these will give you problems. Go OEM Honda.
