Hello Honda fans,

I just purchased a 2018 Civic EX for my daughter and the car is great, it was in a crash and has had the drivers rear door replaced. I noticed the door will not lock or unlock with the fob, it DOES work with the power lock buttons inside the car from the drivers seat and on the rear door itself. All 3 other doors lock and unlock fine with the fob, I asked my local dealer and the service writer told me there is no programming for doors to fobs and that something is not hooked up correctly inside the door. I have a hard time believing this as the power buttons work inside the car just not on the fobs.

So I turn to the internet experts for advice.

cliff nots
driver rear door was replaced prior to purchase
drivers rear door will not lock or unlock from either fob
all other doors work fine from fob
power lock/unlock buttons in side car work on all doors

any ideas?
