D16y7 conversion or swap to y8
I have a 99 manual Civic LX with a d16y7 that blew at 128k due to a dip stick tube seal breaking.... I want to get a new engine with a small turbo to keep ac and I'd never go more than 10lbs of boost. Should I get a y7 and convert it to a y8 or should I just get a y8 and what are the drawbacks/advantages because I've heard differing opinions. Should I just get a different motor all around and how much would the cost be because the budget isn't 4k for a k swap
