Default Sylvania led Options info

I want to swap my taillights and turn signals to led. I read that some have high amp ratings and could burn a connection. I went to O’Reilly and their computer recommended me these pictured on the shelf.

I called sylvania this morning and they recommended me these. 1156 1157 for turn signals 2057 for taillights. pictures from amazon

I was told that the lights themselves may not be recognized by my cars old electrical system and the zevo series would possibly help with that issue. If that didn’t work then I would have to add resistors to each bulb.

anyone want to chime in on the different number choices on the lights. Not so much as to what they mean but she’d some light as to which of the lights above is the safest option.

I have replaced all of my exterior lights with LED and have used this website as reference for which bulbs to get.

As for burning a connection, I have not had a problem. For the turn signal bulbs, you'll have to replace the relay controlling the turn signal lights. With LED bulbs, they have less resistance on the circuit and will cause a hyperflash making the lights flicker much faster. This is a link of the new relay I used.
