'87 Civic Hatch Parts- Where to look?
Hello all!
I hope everyone is doing well. I joined this forum today as I am in need of some direction, and I'm hoping some folks here might have some advice. I am working on cleaning up my 1987 Civic Si and need a few parts replaced to make some progress. I've been looking for a driver's side fender, header panel, grille, and potentially a rear bumper. I have called countless salvage yards (after using an online used parts search tool, and then calling matches) only to find they don't actually have the parts or were unwilling to ship. I've checked ebay, craigslist (used search tempest to bulk search), Facebook Marketplace, Amazon and even looked aftermarket.
Is there a good resource for finding these used parts (and it would blow my mind if I could find them in black)? I'm on the Gulf Coast of Florida if it helps.
Thank you all, appreciate any direction!

Pick-n-Pull junkyards are the best source for any old car, especially, old Hondas. Sure, the older Hondas are hard to find, even at Pick-n-Pull locations, but they are probably the best place to get parts for your '87 Civic Si. I have a pair of Red 1986 Civic Si I am working on, one which only needs some rubbing compound and polishing and the other needs lots of body work. In fact, I replaced the DS fender and the rear bumper with parts from a blue 1985 Civic HB at the Sacramento Pick-n-Pull. On a separate note, there's a Blue 1987 Civic Hatchback for sale on the Sacramento Craigslist and a Red 1985 Civic S for sale on the San Francisco Craigslist, both asking about $1K. Good luck.
X2 as above, it has become really hard to find donors in the junkyards. There might specialty yards that cater to specific brands... And it they ship, it will cost $$$.
