Remote start while keeping factory FOB
Hi guys
I live in a cold climate, and want to install command start on my 2003 Acura CL. I have some experience installing command start. I used SuspendedHatch's guide to install command start in my EF.
I want to keep my OEM remote, but add on something like this (and I found a manual for it here)
I know I need an immobilizer bypass module, which will likely be the 556UW. I found some install instructions for the 556H here and am wondering if this still applies to the newer model?
With these two items, am I able to keep my factory FOB?
Also does anyone have a recommendation other than what I've listed? I have an old Python remote start in my EF, which was significantly cheaper than the Viper version, but I can't seem to find a Python equivalent of this newer Viper command start. Finding old product numbers for command starts is a nightmare too.
