A few months ago I had an issue with my radio. My radio will play then all of a sudden it would make a static and popping noise. I can't seem to figure out what is causing this problem.

 

This could be caused by an internal electrical failure within the radio itself. It could also be due to a damaged antenna cable or antenna or a shorting speaker wire.
Is the popping noise comming from all the speakers when it does happen?
