I got a 96’ coupe hx with a y5 in it and it has rod knock. I also have a running y7 in my garage and a jdm d16zc running as well.
I was doing a little research on putting a y5 on a y7 block and I read mixed things, is it do able? I don’t care about making power at the moment. I just need to get this rod knock issue taken care of and get this car back on the road.

do I rebuild the y5 block?
do I do y5/y7?
put the full y7 motor on the ek?
