Icon5 Cateytic Converter - Recomendation

Hi all

New to this site.. I have a 2009 Honda Accord EX 2.4L and needs a new Catalytic Converter (exhaust manifold) I hear most after market that are cheeper than the Honda Geniune Part are not made well and dont last very long. However , Honda price is $1300 for the part .. which seems like a lot... Can anyone recommendation for one that is fairly priced and will last for some time ?

Thanks in advance

Here ya go:
RockAuto.com - 2009 Honda Accord 2.4L 4Cyl - Exhaust & Emission - Catalytic Converters

I love using RockAuto.com, they have a good selection of parts by reputable manufacturers, good prices, good customer service & quick shipping.
If you click the link you can see I selected your car, a 2009 Honda Accord EX with the 2.4L 4 Cyl and I selected "Exhaust & Emission", then "Catalytic Converter"
If you look at the list the different brands and parts are broken down by performance category:
  • Aftermarket Design/Precious Metal Washcoat
  • OE Design/Precious Metal Washcoat
  • Improved Design/Precious Metal Washcoat
I would go with one of the "Improved Design/Precious Metal Washcoat" parts, it's going to cost more but perform better and last longer. Also things like the quality of the welds and flange alignment are going to be better.
The most expensive model here at RockAuto.com is $404, the BOSAL 0622072 and it will do just fine at nearly 1/4 the price of the OEM part.
I have experience with both BOSAL and WALKER exhaust parts and can say they are of very reasonable quality.
