I am looking to purchase a 2021 Type R LE to add to my collections of "R" and have been contacting many dealers about the LE coming out this year ( but sounds like receiving next summer ). It looks like "stealerships" are marking up the price between 15000-25000. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about this and if anyone heard any inside news from Honda.

 

Dude they are marking the Normal Regular Civic Type R to about starting at 37800 and then they add 10000 mark up on that in local Dealerships or like you said Stealerships around the country. There is only 600 of them so its going to get stupid. Your better off waiting to get a used one if that is possible. Since the COVD thing going on the Stinton sweden plant was closed that is causing this shortage. Honda announced a new North American plant to be constructed and they will have many many Type Rs made and the price will go down naturally and they will probably be better then the first generation anyways. Better to wait dude.
