Default HELP 97 civic 7 pin distributor???

Im going to try to keep this short, please if anyone has any wiring diagrams or knowledge on this share it. Im swapping a 96-00 jdm non vtech d15b with a manual trans into my 97 dx hatchback that was auto with a d16y7. All the wiring matched up with the new engine except for a different distributor plug, the engine came without a distributor(wtf i know). I tried the distributor from my old engine but it didnt fit. I ended up getting a D4T94-04 which is apparently for a d14 but fits this engine? The distributor has the same plug that came from the cut harness but I cant find any information on wiring it to my car? I know my distributor plug from the harness is obd 2a but i cant find out the conversion for this weird long 7 wire plug and theres no harness that I know of for it.
