2009 honda civic rpm changes up and down, only when cold
About a year ago the throttle body was cleaned (not starting and codes) and since then the RPM will move up and down and can make driving a pain when engine is cold. It goes away and is normal when warm.
Driving when cold, the rpm wil change up about 300 rpm everytime the gas pedal is touched. It then goes down after 20 seconds and is fine until you hit the gas again. Same thing repeats.
I have not bothered with it until now that I have so much C19 time
Also concerned that my wife may not be as used to this and back thru a closed garage door.
Appreciate any insights. Automatic, 4 cylinder, normal 1.8 engine. Runs fine.No codes for this idle issue. For some reason the old Bonn Scott AC/DC sounds really good in this civic !
