Default HELP - 97 LX - 4th gear shudder at low rpm

Need help with my 1997 Honda Civic lx auto, so everytime im driving at cruising speeds when the auto tranny shifts to the lowest gear at low acceleration, the car starts studdering but when I apply more gas & accelerate it stops & also more so happens when the car is warmed up does not happen when car is colds need help please !!

No, the tranny is strong & shifts smooth, it’s just when I’m auto 4th gear curising at lower rpm it starts studdering/hesitation but when applying more gas it stop right away after I accelerate. It more so happens between 1500 RPMs When the auto tranny is in 4th gear cruising

Try multiple ATF drain-refill cycles.

torque converter lockup, yeah try a drain and fill 1st. Have a feeling its your torque converter.
