Troubleshooting: code po441-purge solenoid incorrect flow. What does this mean?
hi guys i have a 1997 honda accord 2.2 vtec with what what i think is a b20 engine. i have been rebuilding this car for the last two years and cannot get rid of or figure out a p0441 code. i have broken everything down and completely rebuilt this car to its origal factory of the the line status mechanically; of course besides a couple of perks, but everything is new. unfortunately its an auto, but i have the tranny replaced when i first got it. its comes up as the purge solenoid incorrect flow but i have switched out a few and still same issue. changed the o2 a few times still same issue. all gaskets brand new besides head gasket but realy dont think thats an issue. thinking it may be the cat converter because i did have to have it welded to fit on the direct fit. need some ideas.
After clearing the code, how quickly does it return? Check your gas cap gasket to make sure it is good. Vacuum hose is cheap enough, so I would just replace the vacuum lines going to the evaporative purge solenoid.
