Good day and thank you for your time and help.......After having issues with fuel injection issues in the past I want to keep the valves and injectors clean on my new CRV, my engine is a direct injection one and I need to know does the injectors hit the top of the valves or under them? I've read valves stay cleaner if gas is injected on top of them, can anyone tell me about this and what's the best way to clean what I have.....thanks again very much

 

My ASE service shop has a EasyGDI service and $4000 guarantee on their service. However, Honda makes a pretty good direct injection system. Just make sure you're using Top Tier fuel -- even though very little of it will splash on top of the intake valves. Ford awhile back adjusted their spray timing to allow more splash, but other manufacturers have added a port injector as well. Still, it should be fine.
