Hello all,

My parking brake handle is a little loose and wiggles a bit, when I disengage it. It still ratchets up and locks, but the brake light sometimes stays on when I disengage. How do I tighten the parking brake handle?

Your brake pads and shoes may be worn and may need to be replaced.

After replacing them, see rear brake adjustment procedure in service manual. If handle is still loose, a nut on the rear side of the parking brake handle can be turned to adjust the height.
