I have a 1994 honda accord and recently when engine is warmed up and in gear the idle starts to rev up then relaxes until I'm able to drive off or shut it down. At the same time it difficult to start. It just winds up and when it does start it sounds like I'm running on 3 cylinders. Can someone explain please. Thanx

 

If you think it's running on three cylinders it should be easy to figure out which three. Open hood, start car, pull one spark plug wire, if the sound changes that's not the one with the issue, if it sounds no different that's the one with the problem.
