headlight assembly
I have 2009 Honda Accord. I want to replace the headlight assembly and use LED lights. I have noticed a wide range of prices for the headlight assemblies. Which is the best headlight assembly for a good price? Which LED lights should I get?

You can use your stock headlight assemblies and just install either high or low beam or both, bulbs. If your stock headlights have clouded or yellow plastic lenses I can tell you how to wet sand and buff them, they will look and operate like new.
There are different brands of LED bulbs with different levels of quality. There are usually different models of bulbs to choose from, from each manufacturer. Things to consider are: Wattage, Lumen Output & Light Color Temperature.
Higher wattage and higher lumen bulbs will typically cost more. You aren't going to get the light output or clean light beam cutoff of OEM equipped led vehicles or led lights mounted in specifically designed projectors but you will get brighter light than halogen bulbs with a whiter light.
It depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. You can also completely replace your headlight assemblies with ones that come equipped with LEDs. These might have projectors installed some with "halos" or some with led driving lights (strips or multi, single leds).
You would think buying a complete headlight assembly that is "designed" for and comes equipped with led's is going to be the best option but there truth is alot of these aftermarket headlight assemblies and cheap, chinese, low quality "bling" factor parts and don't have quality plastics or projectors.
The real thing to do is buy a set of aftermarket LED projectors, take apart your oem headlights and custom fit or "retrofit" the projectors in there. This costs alot and is labor intensive but will give you the best light with sharp cutoff lines, bright consistent beams and no glare.
I would say for the $, just refinish your oem headlight assemblies (if they need it) and throw in a set of quality led bulbs that are of the right size and type.

I have used these bulbs and for the $ they were a great choice.
Your Low Beams are: 9006 or HB4 Type
Your High Beams are: 9005 or HB3 Type
