Brake Fluid??
I want to get some steel braided brake lines in the next weeks and I´m wondering which would be a good brake fluid (maybe better than the stock one) for a daily driver?? Somebody told me that I could damage my brake system when I would use a wrong one. Is that right? But I don´t want one which I would have to change every 2 two weeks or months....
Common brands are ATE, Ferodo, Castrol,...over here in germany.
Thanx in advance!

I use the Valvoline Synthetic that you can commonly buy in autoparts store. It's got a higher boiling point (500°F) than stock (286°F , I think) and should hold up better. I did have what I think to be fluid related problems at my last track session, but my S2K and Miata buddies who run the same fluid, did not.
I've have been running Powerslot rotors, PBR pads, and Goodridge line and up until recently, I ran Honda OEM fluid even at my local autocrosses without any issue.

As for damage, you can't mix silicone based brake fluid (DOT5) with other types of brake fluid.
Isn't there a Ford Racing Fluid, or something like that, that's much better than normal fluid and it's cheaper than hi-po fluid?
