Swapping into chevy vega
Hi everybody. I'm looking into a very different swap. I own a 2003 Civic SI. Surprisingly it is Rusted. I would like to know if I can use an S2000 transmission and swap it into a Chevy Vega. For those who do not know, the Vega is from the early 70s. It is front-engine rear-drive Econo box. It has the style of a mini Camaro. It weighs about 2100 pounds.
here are my questions
will the S2000 bolt up to the 2.0 in the Civic or any other Honda for that matter?
will the electronics play nicely together.?
will the electronics be okay in another car? I plan on Switching the Honda cluster and everything else required into the Chevy.
hope somebody can give me some info on this, I think it would be fun.

Only the S2000 engine is a direct bolt on to the S2000 transmission. There are adapter plates out there that allow a K series to bolt to the S2000 transmission. If you are going the adapter plate route might as well adapt to a GM transmission, those adapters exist as well for the K and J series.
