F23a1 to F23a
So I have a 2001 Honda Accord coupe and I just did a swap from the f23a1 to the F23a. It’s done but my problem is when I give it gas it just wants to quit on me I’m not sure if it’s the distributor or not can someone help me out it the distributor from the f23a1 the same as the F23a I just took the one from the f23a1 when I did the swap and I was wondering if that’s the problem I noticed when I go to look at a new one there adjustable and the one I took from my f23a1 isn’t
Since '96 with the introduction of OBDII USDM distributors are non adjustable. Upper slot is replaced with a hole.
As long as your camshaft is timed correctly to the crank, you don't have to worry about ignition timing.
When replacing the A1 with an A, with the exception of the exhaust manifold, all other components and brackets should be taken from the A1 and installed on the A engine.
Although similar, the A engine has a few minor differences that will not work quite right with the A1.
One of the easily minor mistakes to make is swapping the TPS for the MAP sensor plugs. Verify these are not swapped incorrectly.
