I need to have the front windshield on my 96 Civic EX sedan replaced. I don’t have comp & collision coverage, so this looks like it’s out of pocket, and looking at OEM.
Found part# 73111-S01-A10 GLASS, FR. WINDSHIELD available at local dealer for $355, but I need to confirm proper rubber, seals, molding & fasteners, etc.
Looking at schematic, and corresponding list of #s, 1-6 specify “front”, which I assume I need, #7 & #9 don’t specify, #8 says “rear”, which I assume I don’t need, and #10 is not listed.
That said, which do I actually need, if I want to replace all original rubber, seals, molding & fasteners, etc., just 1-6...or 7, 9 & 10 as well? 🤔
Did you enter the car VIN when you did the parts search? If so, parts shown in the diagram but not shown in the parts list below do not apply to your car.
If you plan to replace the windshield yourself, first carefully read the service manual instructions.
Yes, I entered the car VIN when I did the parts search. The only part shown in the diagram but not shown in the parts list below is #10, so I’ll assume it does not apply to my car.
That said, and since only #8 listed says “rear”, I’m looking at #1-6, which say “front”, along with #7 & #9, neither of which specify front or back.
