Default 90 DX hatch failed start after starter change

Starter in my d15b2 went out so I threw in an obd0 ZC starter, the starter works and everything, verified by my cam gear is spinning but the car combusts for a millisecond when starting then immediately stalls. Only ideas I have is that the disi died while sitting, or that the last time I push started it it to life before the starter change the belt jumped a tooth as it did stall randomly then but I just assumed it was my foot work. Any ideas? Gonna check the disi and timing after work but figured I’d get some insight.

could be that the rotor in the dizzy just got a little corroded from sitting
a little sandpaper and grease on the rotor should get that fixed
after thats done just check for spark
see if you have it or not

also make sure that you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to the number 2 position
