Need ideas on repainting the car
I have 1991 Honda Accord Lx. The original paint color was black with gray cloth interior.
Outside paint is shot. Interior is like it's only a few years old.
I live in the crazy hot Arizona desert. Like over 130% in July. So black is not a great color. And black shows every little thing.
I have had white vehicles they really stay cooler then a dark color.
On doing a color change it really jumps up in price to do the inside painted areas. So I want to leave them black/dark .
I'm looking for suggestions on going with white or another light color as the main body color and then adding maybe some black areas or accents to the white main color to make it work and look less like a black to white color change.
I know doing flat black thing was an old rally car thing to cut down on glare off the hood. But I don't think that would do anything to hide the color change.
So, your ideas are very welcome. Pictures of examples would be supper.
Thank you.

1 - I'd consider a wrap instead of a paint job. With some practice, you can do it yourself and learn a new skill. You can even piecemeal it and do one part of the car at a time.
2 - Consider silver instead of white, silver and black go pretty well, maybe better than black and white.
3 - Go really old school and roller paint it. I've seen a few done like this now and it's another look entirely. Original T-Buckets from Ford came from the factory roller painted.

Thank you for your thoughts. I thought wrapping the car, but do not know much about it.
It seems depending on the wrap used it can be as muth as a higher end paint job.
As for DIY I'm normally into it. But lucky me health issues will not alow it.
I also know about plastic dipping paint jobs.
I'm not sure how long I'll keep the car, most likely a few years or just keeping it a very long time. But I do have resell in mind so I don't know about doing unusual paint job like rolling or Plasti Dip, or rattle can.
A color like silver would work. Just wondering... Maybe do it all in silver with the rocker panel area in black for a two tone. In my mind that would look really nice.
I'm in a rual area so my options on a low end paint job is limited unless I take the car into Las Vegas, about 100 miles oneway.
Thank you for the silver thought.
