I ordered an oil pump on Ebay. Below is what I received. It has stamped on it GKN19PC1115-40. I thought the OEM manufacturer is Yamada. The seller says they source from original parts factory. There is a Honda sticker on the sealed bag, but I'm sure that can or has been faked in the past. Looking for reassurance that this is a real OEM part based on the casting part number.
Yamada is the OE manufacturer. I have found no other source to acquire this pump other than a Honda or Acura Dealership. It is obvious that the font on the Honda Packaging Sticker is NOT original... it is some Chinese copy.

yep. yamada is the OEM manufacturer, in the peach bag. you got a fake. no more eBay for you.

I'm in the process of returning. Seller still claims it is a factory part, and now warranty has bumped to 3 years from originally stating 1 year. At least they will take it back. Bad oil pump equals engine rebuild, so no thanks. I guess it could have come from an overseas Honda dealer, but I'd rather not take a gamble there.
