Best way to extract trans mount studs when swapping transmission?
Hi There,
I'm in the process of swapping a 1998 Honda Civic B4RA out for a slightly newer BDRA. I want to use the transmission mounting studs from the old transmission on the new transmission. What is the best way to get the studs out of the old transmission -pic attached? Are they left hand threaded into the case? Don't want to damage them. Alternately are they readily available by honda part number? I don't have a a good shop manual for the car yet.
Thx

Reason: adding BDRA pic

Take the two nuts, put them on one stud and tighten them together, then use the bottom nut to turn counter-clockwise. The nut above will prevent them from turning around the stud and allow stud to thread out of trans.
