First Gen CRV largest tires?

Need to put some new tires on my 97 CRV, I have 15inch rims, just wondering what the biggest tires I can put in it without lifting?

I've read that 215/75/15 can fit without a lift. I personally haven't used this tire, but I do have 215/65/16 and have ZERO rubbing at any flex.

I have 215/70R/15 BF Goodrich Advantage TA Sport tires on our '97 with the alloy rims that came from the dealer when new. They fit just fine and look better than the 205/70R/15 tires that were on previously.
