This just started yesterday. Where when the button is pressed to open the rear hatch, it raises up fully then drops a bit. Makes some beeping noises. Then proceeds to close back down fully. It will not stay opened.

I'm assuming its the gas dampers but not certain. Has anyone else seen this issue. I just don't want to throw random parts at it. Thanks guys.

Press the tailgate button for more than one second (for manual mode), it should have two beeps. Then lift the tailgate. If the tailgate drops, it probably is the due to the gas dampers.
