I'm curious if anyone has ever done a retrofit to add a cabin air filter on their EF? I'm asking because I live in the PNW and we're dealing with the horrible smoke wafting through from the wildfires raging across the entire west coast. The 20-minute drive home from my brother's house just about killed me, and wearing a mask doesn't help much.

 

You could try to get some filter material from a home improvement store (e.g., Home Depot, Lowes, hardware store, etc.) and cut it to fit the air intake under the cowl cover.
