Exhaust smoke when hot
1999 automatic CRV 340,000+ km (221,000 miles)
After I've driven and its hot, I'll come to a light idle for a bit then on take off I get a pretty good puff of what looks like grey smoke.
Doesn't appear to be using coolant.
Drinks a bit of a oil (always has since I've had the car)
Transmission fluid burning?
Thanks

Where's the smoke coming from? Does it come out of the exhaust at the rear of the vehicle? Does it come out from under the hood? Have you noticed your transmission fluid level dropping?
