Tumbling, lifting noise from engine
Hello fellow honda boys and girls!
Need your help with a 91 accord wagon ex, I have a noise coming from left side of engine bay. Noise sounds as if something is tumbling or rolling around. This noise is heard at start up and worse when vehicle is warm. Also noticed after turning vehicle off I can hear what sounds like a dripping noise coming from engine. Like a rain drop hitting plastic is the best I can describe it. Don't think it's belts as I recently just got a alternater and belts repplaced. No check engine light. Know problems with my vehicle is a exhaust leak closer to the muffler but don't know if that would effect the front end noise. Thanks for any help and insight on the problem.

I would start at the top and take off the valve cover to see if it's something obviously rolling around. If not there, then take off the side cover to see what is going on. You don't want this to get worse and have something break severely.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Alt was replaced no more than 4 months ago. The sound started maybe a week ago. I did recently get my speed sensor replaced but that was maybe a month ago. I checked for play in belts and checked components around speed sensor but found nothing out of the ordinary (from my little knowledge on the matter) debating oil change, maybe gas additives
Thank you for your time and help!
