2005 Accord, HELP Identifying Parts/Leak Source
I've been trying to fix a pesky leak on a 2005 Accord, 2.4L VTEC.
This image is of the passenger side of the engine. The oil is getting onto the engine side of the serpentine belt which is throwing it all over the place. The heaviest location is right by this panel with an X on it that is directly adjacent to the oil filter, moving towards the outside of the vehicle. That is the crankshaft just south-east of that panel.
What is that panel and could oil be leaking out of there? Otherwise, I fear its a crankshaft seal leak....

That is the cover for the cam chain auto-tensioner. Oil can leak from there. You can always just remove the cover, clean it and reapply liquid gasket on it.
