Default Trans/clutch or axels

I recently blew my motor so I got a rebuilt one. Pulled engine/trans out new clutch resurfaced fly wheel. Got the motor/trans in the car everything looking good engine fires right up, but there’s this ticking noise coming from the trans . When I dropped it on the ground and tried to drive the car it didn’t wanna move it did move a foot but not a good sound.grinding/ . Also not able to reverse. I’m trying to figure out if it’s the axels/trans/ or clutch. 98 civic ex
