My car is having really bad vibrations at high speed could that chip on the bottom of the balancer be the reason??

This is the 2006-2015 forum, but yeah that definitely could vibrate badly. Does the vibration go away or lessen if you put it in neutral or push the clutch in while you're at high speeds? Either way you should replace it as soon as you can.

 

yes it goes away when I push the clutch in and when it’s in neutral

 

So it's definitely tied in with engine speed then. I would replace it. You could likely source one from a wrecked junkyard car or possibly eBay for less than the dealer.
