So my like probably everyone else's B pillar trim is fading, I was going to try and find new ones or at least put some kind of vinyl over them and it isn't a replaceable piece but just tape. But I saw this old thread and apparently on sedans it is just color matched paint under. Unfortunitally the thread is very old and pics aren't there anymore.

I am tempted to just remove the factory tape and rock the painted pillars, but am unsure how it looks so I'm nervous to remove the stock tape. Can anyone provide pics of how it looks or confirm it is just color painted under?

I also did find this showing there does appear to be paint under, but is the trim alomg the tops of the window also painted too? 🤔
